Gizmodo The Gadget Guide (I guess Lego could be considered gadgets) has worked with Lego to collect and catalog almost every Lego minifig ever produced into a photographic timeline. Being a big Lego fan I think it’s neat to see how the Lego minifigs have evolved over time. And although I’m only a fan of the castle series, I really like the diversity of all the minifigs shown in the timeline.

I was always envious of Ricky Schroder in Silver Spoons, not so much for all the cash his father had but for what all that cash bought. The arcade games were nice but the most amazing thing he had was a rideable train running through his living room. Now a similar rideable train can be yours. The 30′ diameter 12-gauge circular track is made of welded steel, can be set up in under an hour and supports a single child up to 100 lbs. So I guess I’ll have to lose about 60 pounds and save up $4600 before this thing sells out during the upcoming holiday season.

What you’re looking at is not actually a Japan-only snow cone maker simulation game controller, but possibly the future of the PlayStation controller. Earlier this year there was talk of Sony releasing a break-apart controller for the PS3 which was a mystery. No one knew quite what to expect as Sony has been using the Dual Shock model as the primary and pretty much only PlayStation controller since the original came out thirteen years ago. I don’t expect the new motion-censored controller to overtake the Dual Shock 3 but I do see it as, depending on the game, a nice alternative to the standard everyday controller in the future.

Following the trend of TV media going online recently, MTV dropped a bomb today by flipping the switch on mtvmusic.com. The site has tons and tons of music videos to watch from the MTV vintage vault to present day material (broadband or FIOS internet connection highly recommended). The site is currently in Beta but the music videos they have are up and running well. Just type in the artist or song you’re looking for and see if it’s available yet on the service. Yup, this internet thing may not be a fad afterall…

The Video Home System (VHS) was first developed by JVC and launched in Europe/Asia in September, 1976 and the U.S. in June, 1977. It has been a long time coming but the company that started it all over 30 years ago just ran the last batch of standalone VCRs off the assembly line. Due to the popularity of DVD, Hi-def discs and downloads, there’s just no reason to make the bulky media anymore. Over 900 million VCRs have been produced worldwide.

I recently got a Motorola Razr and I love the design of it but the latest cell phone Motorola is working on is breathtaking. The MOTOAURA’s unique circular screen features sapphire glass, and because of its shape has custom applications designed for it including a bunch of screensavers. At $2,000 you’d really have to be into cell phone fashion to buy this but if it’s this beautiful on the screen, imagine how it would look in the palm of your hand.

I bought the 19PFL5422D to replace the aging tube TV I had in my bedroom. This stylish TV was designed with a glass base and a great easy to use/hold remote. It features 1440 x 990 pixels, a digital tuner, HDMI connection, Energy Star and fast channel loading. There also are many audio and picture modes to choose from from like 6 video formatting options.
Although I really like this TV there are couple gripes I have with it. The picture quality is OK but the TV has white bleeding on the top and bottom which is more noticeable in dark rooms. The auto-format feature is nice but it will sometimes change the format of what you’re watching while you’re watching it so I just turned it to widescreen always.
In conclusion, this stylish TV is packed with features you’d find on higher end models If you can get past the mediocre contrast ratio and picture quality, I am confident that it is one of the better 19″ LCD Televisions you will find out there.

The music group AC/DC came out with an interesting idea for a music video. An official song video that is meant to be downloaded and viewed in MS Excel. Apparently Excel isn’t just used for adding up numbers with formulas but also as a way to show off artistic videos. Although I couldn’t get it to work on my computer (must be a Mac thing) I was able to watch the YouTube video and it is seems different and unique, much like AC/DC’s style of music.

After a long wait and countless Media Molecule teasers, LittleBigPlanet is reported to have been spoted at some GameStops across the country. The puzzle platformer and world creation video game was supposed to come out last week but one of the background music tracks references two expressions that can be found in the Qur’an which caused the one week delay. Now look at how happy this news made Sackboy.

Addictive game addicts rejoice! More Good news for Peggle and/or Nintendo DS fans. On March 3rd of next year we will be seeing Peggle make its Nintendo debut on the DS. Peggle: Dual Shot is being developed by Q Entertainment, the same group responsible for popular games such as Rez and Lumines. Not sure yet how the one touchscreen will fare with Peggle’s addictive gameplay but I’m sure it will remain just as addictive on the DS as it is on the other platforms.

There are many MP3 players out there trying to compete with the iPod so why is it that the iPod still controls over 70% of the mp3 player market? iPods are briliantly designed, easy to operate and generally have fewer problems than competitors MP3 players. They say you can’t buy happiness but you will generally be happier overall with iPods despite paying more money up front. From the Shuffle to the Nano to the newest addition to the family, the Touch, here’s to over 150 million iPods sold.

The spork was an awesome invention because it combines two utensils, saving countless amounts of dollars for cafeteria buyers everywhere who can save by not overbuying on spoons or forks. This utensil invention serves a different purpose but is just as clever. The calamete (ka-la-may-tay) makes spaghetti eating faster because it’s designed to easily twirl and scoop spaghetti before you lift it to your mouth. And even though it looks a little like a dental tool (rusted this thing would be outright scary looking), I’d buy some just to satisfy my pasta needs that much faster while using the calamete.

They should change the phrase to The Way to a Man’s Heart is Through His iPhone. Seeing the colorful frosting on the top of these cupcakes make me want one so much more than just a typical batch. It’s not just the bright colors that attract me, it’s also the meaning behind the icons displayed on the cupcakes. The Apple iPhone is one of the greatest inventions and an awesome device.. when it doesn’t freeze up on me.

Sex Drive looks like a pretty funny movie but how do we know if it’s really worth our ten bucks? How about by watching the first ten minutes of the movie (10:52 to be exact) absolutely free! The first ten minutes of Sex Drive really make you want more too. The characters seem funny and so does the story. This idea of giving away xx minutes of a movie is a good one. Something I hope to see more of in the future.
