Hi!
I stumbled across your Youtube video of planes landing at BWI yesterday. So my sister, her best friend, my husband and I all took a road trip down there to watch the planes. The planes were taking off from that runway, not landing, so we could not see much. We were curious to know why they were taking off and not landing on the same runway that you filmed. My husband suggested maybe the wind had something to do with it? If you could, write me back and let me know what you think! We will definitely be taking the trip from York, PA back to BWI again, but hopefully on a day that the planes will be landing. :P

Talk to you soon!!
Thanks,
Rachael

Hi Evan,

Thank you so much for your write-up. Your blog is way cool. I was so thrilled to see you mention us. However now I realize I should have been a bit more politic in my promotional release with this App. So I was hoping, hoping, that I could ask you for a big favor... a few minor text edits to your post, so we don't anger the electronic gaming gods. :-)

- Can you please remove "mattel" from the post copy.

We actually combined features and looks from several of the retro games to create this hybrid. So we could hopefully avoid the association. And create the best of the best. In fact if you Google "Mattel football" ours looks different enough that we might slip under the wire?

Thank you, thank you, thank you. :-)

And if you have any interest in taking this App for a spin. Send me your identifier
number for your iPhone. And I can put you on our AdHoc beta test list. You could play tomorrow :-)

Mark

Bringin back the LED!

*I have included our app description and some info.

LED Football

Feel the rush as your player moves down field. Watch out for Defense! They will take you down hard. Reach the end zone and you will hear the sweet sound of victory beeps. TOUCHDOWN! This is electronic sports at it's best. The action of real electronic football at your fingertips and on your iPhone. See the LED display, so bright and hi-tech. Feel the molded plastic buttons created for fast-action. Hear the exciting Bleeps and Blips in full clear sound. Think you have what it takes to be a sports star? Then step up and take the challenge for the low, low price of only 99¢*! Get your copy now!

*iPhone sold separately.

I've always been a huge fan of handheld electronic games and lately of the iPhone platform. And it occurred to me that these two would be a perfect match. That is why we here at touchGrove have developed a game with NeonSurge based on the 1970's electronic handheld football games. We actually combined features and looks from several of the retro games to create this hybrid LED experience.

Thank you,
Mark Helmuth
