Google Chrome

Google has further expanded on its internet empire yesterday by releasing a new open source web browser: Google Chrome. The primary design goals of the browser are improvements in security, speed and stability when compared to existing browsers like IE and Firefox.

I downloaded Chrome this morning and I’m impressed with it so far. The menus on the top of the screen don’t take up as much room, leaving the viewer with more space for viewing the actual web sites. After looking into my crystal ball I predict Chrome becoming as popular as Firefox has become in the next few years.
